The SEMClip™ SEM specimen mounts have been specifically designed to provide an easy, quick and clean way to mount any type of thin specimen on a specimen stub. The spring loaded clips can accommodate samples with a thickness up to 2mm. The samples are held down securely by a small spring‐loaded clip which allows for easy change of samples. They do not require the use of adhesives thus avoiding waiting times and possible outgassing issues. The SEMClip™ mounts are available with 1, 2 and 3 clips and are ideal to hold silicon chips, paper, wire, threads, thin films, sheet metal, etc. The SEMClip™ mounts with multiple clips can be used to either hold larger samples or multiple smaller samples. The SEMClip™ mounts are also ideal to hold the silicon chip specimen support mounts G540.
Pin stub versions of SEMClip™ are available in diameters from 18 to 50mm and can be used with all SEMs using pin stubs: FEI/Philips, ZEISS/LEO, Cambridge, Leica, Amray, CamScan and Tescan. The slug mount versions for JEOL SEMs are available in 25 and 32mm diameter. The SEMClip™ screw mount for Hitachi SEMs (with M4 thread) are available in 15, 25 and 32mm ‐ ask for sizes not listed below.

Springloaded vise clamp with reversible jaws for an opening up to 38mm. The universal jaws have special slots to firmly hold round samples of various diameters both horizontally and vertically. Maximum width of the jaws is 32mm. Material: machined aluminum with stainless steel springs, rods, screws, washers, and brass sliders. Overall size of the vise clamp w/o pin is 67 x 52 x 20mm. M4 threaded hole in base of G088-4.
Extended button (PEL15372-10) is needed when used with the Dovetail stage adapters (PEL15371 or PEL15397).

Carbon (graphite) planchets are ideal substrates for X‐ray analysis and backscattered electron imaging in a SEM or electron microprobe. The spectroscopically pure carbon provides an excellent conductive, low emission X‐ray background free of any characteristic X‐ray peaks except carbon. Carbon planchets are favored over the non‐conductive diamond planchets (charging will have negative effects on the analytical results and can distort X‐ray mapping and imaging).
The carbon planchets can be cleaned and used again.
Impurities equal to or less than 2ppm (single element 1ppm or less). Fine ground finish on one side; 0.80µm. All planchets are 1.6mm thick.

Six of these pin mount stands fit on a shelf in a 300 x 300 x 300mm desiccator, creating a storage capacity of 240 standard pin mounts per shelf. Also very practical for storing pin mount type SEM specimen holders.
The stand can also be used for supporting pin mounts and pin type SEM specimen holders when mounting specimens. Ideal when preparing large numbers of specimens. One corner of the pin mount stand has a notch to aid as a locator.

PELCO® SEM SPECIMEN PREPARATION STATION

This solid aluminium support block is a great practical tool for preparing samples on SEM specimen mounts. The SEM mounts are securely held by the specimen preparation station in an upright position, providing a horizontal mounting plane. It holds 10 specimen mounts in identifiable numbered positions. Also ideally suited for examining mounted specimens under a stereo microscope. This versatile SEM specimen preparation station accommodates 3 types of SEM specimen mounts.

PELCO® SEM SPECIMEN PREPARATION STATION
MULTI-ANGLE, for pin mounts
Multi-angle SEM specimen preparation block holds standard pin mounts in horizontal and vertical position and at 45 degrees, for easy mounting on pre-tilted specimen mounts. The vertical and 45 degree planes prevent specimen from moving when mounted on vertical and 45 degree specimen mounts. Locking screws are provided to secure the mounts during specimen preparation. Holds multiple pin mounts with 12.7 and 25mm diameter. The horizontal plane holds 5 pin mounts and is also useful for holding large pin mounts or pin mount type holders when mounting specimens.
Material: blue anodised, solid aluminium with stainless steel locking screws.

The pin mounts are held in a closed cell rubber foam insert. Each box in the drawer holds 260 standard 12.7mm pin mounts. The lid on the box minimises moisture and dust affecting the contents. A storage map is provided with each drawer/box. The pin mount storage cabinet can also be used to store larger diameter pin mounts (up to 100mm or for pin type specimen holders with a maximum height of 32mm.
The cabinet is made of sturdy and non-corrosive high density polyethylene, the drawers and clear boxes are made from impact polypropylene.
The cabinets are stackable with interlocking grooves.
Outside dimensions of the cabinet are W394 x D368 x H406mm.
The internal dimension of the boxes in the drawers are 333 x 225mm with a maximum specimen height of 32mm.
The foam insert and the clear plastic box with foam insert can also be ordered separately. The foam insert can be used without the box, to store specimens in desiccators.
The high purity pin type mounts come enclosed within a protective clear holder. For use affix carbon conductive tabs. Contains one hundred sample kits.

FOR FEI/PHILIPS SEM / FESEM AND DUALBEAM SYSTEMS
The SEM stage adapters offered here are similar to the original SEM stage adapters from the SEM manufacturer. They are intended as replacements or additional stage adapters on the specimen holders from the SEM manufacturer. Two different heights are available, either as a complete assembly with pillar, base and locking nuts or as individual items. The pillar is made form non‐binding brass to enable smooth height adjustment. The base and locking nuts are made from vacuum grade aluminium. Thread on the stage adapter items is M6‐fine.
