Polypropylene and polycarbonate
High speed centrifuge tubes with round bottom, moulded from polypropylene or polycarbonate.They are thick-walled and strong enough to be used up to 50,000 x G. They can be autoclaved, however, repeated autoclaving of PC tubes reduces their mechanical strength.

Polystyrene
Glass-clear polystyrene test tubes. Supplied without lids/ stoppers - 13mm caps are available. The loose fitting cap LCB38 is suitable for LCB04; volume 8mL. Polystyrene is glass clear, hard and is resistant to most acids and alkalis. It is not autoclavable and does not resist a large range of organic solvents.
